the childcare training simulation project
In 2013 One Tree was granted funding for the development of a childcare training simulation game.
The simulation game is set in a virtual childcare centre environment where players are able to interact with virtual staff and children.
The Childcare Training Simulation Project is aimed at ensuring childcare educators have access to a range of training opportunities to build their childcare experience, education and skills.
This online application is accessible 24/7 and is free.
The Childcare Training Simulation Project is a project funded by the Department of Local Government and Communities and developed in conjunction with VR Space.
The game is designed to allow childcare educators to access online training that builds on their education, experience and skills.
The Childcare Training Simulation Project is fun and interactive, incorporating different scenarios that an educator may encounter on a daily basis and also simulating emergency situations designed to challenge the player.
The Childcare Training Simulation Project was developed in accordance with the National Quality Standard (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Framework for School Aged Care (FSAC).
One Tree would like to thank the Department of Communities for their support in this exciting project.
