About Flying Start: Situated within the esteemed RAAF Base in Bullsbrook, WA, our One Tree Defence Unit Flying Start service unfolds within a charming heritage cottage, surrounded by lush lawns and an inviting nature playground. This distinguished facility is dedicated to nurturing educators who aim to establish meaningful connections with children, families, and a vibrant community. Our services include Long Day Care, Nursery, Toddler Room, and Preschool facilities, creating an environment that seamlessly blends excellence with a warm sense of community. Catering to 23 children per day, our service operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. We are currently seeking a dynamic Service Director who embodies creativity, passion, drive, and innovative thinking to lead a robust team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking career progression in a positive and growth-oriented environment.

Position Requirements: Successful candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Min 2 years experience as a centre director
  • Completion of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
  • Current working with children check.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Passion for early childhood education, a collaborative mindset, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and a person-centered approach.
  • Candidates must have a current driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle.
