An exciting opportunity has become available for a Centre Director to be part of our warm and friendly service and lead an amazing team of educators in the North Queensland town of Townsville, you’ll find One Tree Defence Childcare Unit Coral Sea. Within this small service, you’ll find a long day care, nursery, toddler room and pre-school. The experienced team (and your new teammates) have created beautiful natural outdoor spaces where children, families and educators flourish.

What you’ll bring:

• Diploma in Early Childhood
• Working with Children Card
• Strong leadership skills
• Centre Manager experience
• Creative solutions

 
What you’ll do

• You will lead the team to achieve set targets
• You will create rosters in accordance with staffing requirements
• You will have experience in recruiting early childhood educators
• You will be able to place the needs of children and their community at the centre of practice
• You will have knowledge of approved Early Learning and Development Frameworks and the National Quality Standards
• You have the capacity to build a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
• You will find Creative solutions
• Have open-mindedness and patience
• Positive team and family spirit
• An unwavering passion for children, their learning and care
