Located in the beautiful remote town in the East Kimberley, Kununurra, is our 40 placed service with a child-centred approach. If you’re looking for new experiences, then you’ll love working at this service. The children practice yoga, mindfulness and there are sessions from the Miriwoong Language Group held 3 days per week. There is a wonderful bush kindy program which focuses on a holistic, both ways approach to teaching and learning, along with many sustainability practices in action.

What you will do:
As an educator you will be a team player who is willing to help support the service, children and other employees as needed. You will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs which are based on the needs and interests of children whilst encouraging their input and participation and assist in facilitating play and in encouraging children to try new experiences.

Other duties include:

• Assist in providing adequate supervision at all times.
• Develop positive and supportive relationships with children
• Ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe.
• Adhere to the services policies and procedures and work in accordance with all relevant regulations and the National Quality Framework.
• Provide educational experiences and care for children.
