Gurlu Gurlu Maya Child and Parent Centre (CPC) supports families in Roebourne, Wickham and surrounding communities. We cater for families and young children from birth to eight years of age in a safe and open environment. Our learning and support programs are designed to promote positive experiences and support health and wellbeing.

What you’ll do
- Support Aboriginal children and families accessing CPC programs and services.
- Develop and deliver programs that support participation of children and families.
- Work with the CPC coordinator to support and deliver local playgroups and parenting programs.
- Support the CPC coordinator in identifying and responding to gaps in service delivery for families.
- Support the CPC Coordinator to work with other organisations that respond to children aged 0-8 years and their families from an integrated services model.
- Engage with the Aboriginal community working from a ‘both ways’ and strength-based approach that supports the participation of Aboriginal families in the CPC.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant qualification in children’s services/community services
- Cultural awareness and experience working alongside communities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in building relationships with children and families
- A valid driver’s licence
- A current Working with Children Check
- A clear National Police Clearance
