About Little Geckos: 

Located in Tindal (Jawoyn Country) Little Geckos is a wonderful service located 15kms shy of Katherine CBD, NT. The service capacity is 73 children per day, fostering support for children aged between 0-5 years of age. Our team is a passionate bunch who believe in high quality, intentional teaching practices, and embedding an authentic approach towards the Reggio Emilia approach.
As the service is remote, we encourage applicants who attain a drivers licence to apply.

Describing Our Little Geckos Educators: 

We are looking for people who believe in our organisational values and wanting to be apart of of our team for a long time. At One Tree Community Services, we take great pride towards inclusive practice, especially with our educators. We have a educators from all walks of life, who can speak different languages and come from different vocational backgrounds, sharing their transferrable skills.Our Educators Have:  

  • Successfully completed either a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Passionate person who will bring positive energy and loves to collaborate with peers
  • Sound understanding of the Reggio Emilia Approach
  • A pioneer towards embedding best practice
  • Excellent communication skills and has a person centered approach
