Room Leader-Gurlu Gurlu Maya Roebourne-Pilbara

Gurlu Gurlu Maya Children’s Service in Roebourne is seeking a full time diploma qualified (or equivalent) Room Leader who will be a nominated responsible person at the service. Successful applicants must have a genuine love for & interest in children, positive can do attitude and a valid WA Working with Children Card.
Position requirements:
- To design, implement and evaluate programs for children, which meet One Tree and the Service’s philosophy and policies and the National Quality Standards.
- To ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe.
- To communicate effectively with children, families and the wider community.
- To work as an effective team member.
- To follow One Tree policy and government legislation in providing a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff.
- To participate in the operational management of the service.
Successful applicant must have:
- Diploma in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Teaching Qualification
- Demonstrated experience in the early childhood education industry
- Sound communication skills, written and verbal
- Valid Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain)
- Sufficient experience, qualifications and be already residing in Australia, if seeking sponsorship.

- Remote allowance, additional $2 per hour
