Have you ever wanted to work in childcare but don’t know where to start? Come and join our Kindergarten & Long day care and study while you earn in a 12-month full time traineeship. Timbertop Children’s & Community Centre is an integrated hub in Aintree featuring a number of multipurpose rooms, maternal & child health services as well as Kindergarten and a long day care program.

At Timbertop Early Learning Centre, children have the opportunity to grow and develop through play – the way children learn best. They are given every opportunity to explore the world around them, expand their love of learning, build their knowledge, and develop their ability to form important social connections. Within our long day care we offer a nursery room, toddler room and pre-kinder room. We also offer a kindergarten program.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current working with Children card or ability to obtain
  • Covid Vaccination

What you’ll do:

  • Communicate effectively within the team and contribute as a positive team member
  • Familiarise yourself with, and work within the services policies and procedures and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic, and safe
  • To present yourself professionally and maintain a professional approach to work
  • To reflect and improve upon professional practice
  • Undertake other duties as required
