Andrews Community Kindergarten

Welcome to Andrews Community Kindergarten, a place where children flourish in a fun and nurturing setting. 

Our kindergarten offers engaging 3- and 4-year-old programs designed to spark learning through play. Our educational approach is based on open-ended activities, encouraging children to explore and create. 

Our program enables children to freely transition between indoor and outdoor play spaces. Our dedicated and experienced educators guide children to connect with the natural world while instilling awareness of sustainability practices. At Andrew’s Community Kindergarten, we are committed to providing a rich and diverse environment where children thrive, learn, and embrace the wonders of both indoors and outdoors. 

Our Service

We are a 30-place sessional kindergarten offering funded: 

• Sessional 3-year-old kindergarten; and 
• Sessional 4-year-old kindergarten. 

Our kindergarten terms align with Victorian school terms.

Our Approach

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and the National Framework.  We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophical belief, that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children. 

We’re displaying the Kinder Tick to show we’re an approved provider of a Victorian Government funded and approved kindergarten program. That means our service delivers a play-based learning program, led by a qualified early childhood teacher. 

The Kinder Tick shows we meet the criteria in the funding guidelines set out by the Victorian Government — which means you can have confidence your child’s learning and development will be supported by qualified early childhood teachers and educators through a responsive, evidence-based learning program.

All children who turn three or four by the 30^th of April 2025 and meet the Victorian Government criteria are entitled to 15 hours per week of free kindergarten.
