Timbertop Early Learning Centre

Timbertop Early Learning Centre is a brand-new, state of the art facility located in the Aintree Community Centre. For children, community involvement and engagement improve long-term outcomes as it provides them with a deeper sense of belonging and identity.

Timbertop Early Learning Centre offers

  • 4-year-old Kindergarten;
  • Long Day Care for ages 0- 2 months, 2-3 years and 3-5 years.

At Timbertop Early Learning Centre children have the opportunity to grow and develop
through play – the way children learn best. They are given every opportunity to explore the world around them, expand their love of learning, build their knowledge and develop their ability to form important social connections.

Our Approach

At One Tree we use an on-going cycle of assessment and review throughout our curriculum model called the Cycle of Enquiry process. The Cycle of Enquiry is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophical belief that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children, rather than instructors. One Tree has a range of tools to support the Cycle of Enquiry and to ensure on-going assessment and review occurs. This document outlines the 6 steps found in the Cycle of Enquiry and breaks down what happens at each stage.
