Located close to the centre of Canberra is One Tree Defence Childcare Unit Russell Hill. The centre is the place for educators who want to connect with the children they care for and their families. We offer nursery rooms, a toddler room, and preschool rooms. This allows you to focus on growing your skills caring for children of many ages.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate 3 and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education/ACECQA approved equivalent or working towards Diploma.

You will:

• Provide educational experiences and care for children
• Communicate effectively with children and families
• Adhere to the services policies and procedures and work in accordance with all relevant regulations and the National Quality Framework
• Assist in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff
• Providing quality services to children and families
• Work as a part of a team, supporting and contributing to One Tree as a community in line with One Tree’s Philosophy, Code of Ethics and Strategic Intent

About you

• Be eligible to work in Australia
• Current Working with Children Check
• Hold a Certificate 3 and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education/ACECQA approved equivalent or working towards Diploma
• Satisfactory National Police Clearance
• Available to work from Monday to Friday, anytime from 7.30 am – 6 pm
