Position: Room Leader (Responsible Person)
Status: Full-time permanent
Salary range: $36.80 per hour + $3.55 per hour (remote allowance) + additional allowances and superannuation
Qualifications: Diploma in early childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent

Selection criteria

• Minimum one (1) year’s experience in a room leader role or above
• Experience in working in a remote community
• Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children’s learning
• Communication skills and ability to lead a team
• Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
• Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
• Ability to advocate for children’s rights and role model positive relationships with children

Requirements

• Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Wadeye, NT
• Diploma in Early Childhood/ACECQA approved equivalent
• Current NT Ochre card (Working with Children Check)
• Satisfactory National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR
