We are seeking a passionate and experienced 2IC / Educational Leader to join our dynamic early childhood team in Kununurra, WA. In this role, you will support the Centre Director in leading a committed team, driving high-quality educational programs, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for children.

Selection criteria

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role or above
• Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children’s learning
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to lead a team
• Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
• Demonstrated evidence of developing and evaluating high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to advocate for children’s rights and role model positive relationships with children

Requirements

• Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Kununurra
• Diploma in Early Childhood/ACECQA approved equivalent approved or bachelor’s in early childhood education
• Current WA Working with Children Check
• Satisfactory National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR
