Position: Educational Leader
Status: Part-time (Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week)
Salary: $36.86 – $37.92 per hour + additional allowances and superannuation
Qualification: Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Location: One Tree Kids Brigade Children’s Service, Durack NT 0830

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Leader who is passionate about supporting children and fostering their growth. As an Educational Leader, you will be essential in ensuring clear, effective communication across all service levels, creating an environment of collaboration, professionalism, trust, and respect for all ages at One Tree Kids Brigade.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in driving community engagement and building strong relationships with families and stakeholders. With a proven track record in Assessment and Rating, achieving ‘Meeting’ or ‘Exceeding’ standards, your commitment to continuous improvement and professional development will significantly contribute to our service’s success and the educational journey of our children.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Lead and inspire a team of educators, fostering professional growth and a positive work environment
  • Implement innovative educational programs and room projects
  • Ensure clear, effective communication across all levels of the center, promoting collaboration and trust
  • Oversee compliance with educational standards and safety regulations, maintaining a secure learning space
  • Drive community engagement, building strong relationships with families and external stakeholders

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Current and valid NT Ochre clearance (working with children check)
  • Clear National Police clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
  • Current First Aid, CPR certificate and Child Protection training
  • Previous employment experience in a leadership capacity
  • Confidence supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong skills in positive behaviour guidance and reflective practice
