Position: Certificate III Educator
Employment type: Part time- 18.75 hours per week. Monday 8.45am-4.00pm, Wednesday 8.45am-2.30pm & Friday 8.45am-2.30pm
Award: VOTTEA award, Level 1.1 – $24.87 per hour
Immediate Start until 26th January, 2026 with the opportunity of possibly ongoing

One Tree Balim Balim Kindergarten is in the Wunggurrwil Dhurrung Centre which is an integrated family and neighbourhood centre. One Tree Balim Balim provides a high-quality kindergarten program for local children and families. The service is inspired by child-led approach and local culture.

Responsibilities: As a Certificate III Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our 3 -5 year old kindergarten group. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building Relationships: Demonstrate an ability to develop strong and positive relationships with both children and their families.
• Cultural Competence: Work effectively with people and families from diverse backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere within the kindergarten.
• Team Collaboration: Exhibit the capability to work harmoniously in a team environment, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among colleagues.
• Child-Centric Approach: Provide warm and positive interactions with children, supporting their learning and development within the kindergarten environment.

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and care
• Minimum 2 years experience as an educator in an early childhood setting
• Current Working with Children Check
• National Police Clearance no older than 6 months
• Sessional Kindergarten Experience desirable
