Position: Mentor
Status: Part-time fixed-term until 30/12/2026 – Monday to Wednesday (22.5 hours per week)
Hourly rate: $46.58 – $48.93 per hour (inclusive of all allowances/loadings), plus super

What you’ll do
- Provide support services for the trainees at both Kununurra services through the Pathways Projects
- Support in signing up more trainees working at the Kununurra services
- Provide holistic support to the Kununurra trainees
- Increase completion rates of trainees in Kununurra
- Assist to provide a culturally safe workplace
- Assist to meet the outcomes and deliverables as set out in the Pathways Project Plan

- Ability to work autonomously and work within a budget
- Strong local knowledge and understanding
- Display high level of cultural intelligence
- Connect with others and support goal development and growth
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Well-developed time management skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and developing efficiencies in service delivery
- Approachable, sensitive, and a can-do attitude.

- Passion for working alongside community to support better outcomes for children and families
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Australia and live in Kununurra
- Experience working in a similar role
- Current WA Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance
