About Cerberus: One Tree Defence Childcare Unit Cerberus is located on the HMAS Cerberus Navy Base, surrounded by beautiful local flora & fauna and the green of the Cerberus Golf Club. We operate, Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 5:30pm.

Join Our Team at our Cerberus Service as a Casual Educator!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Educators to join our supportive team at our Defence Child Care in Cerberus.

This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are committed to providing high-quality care and education for children.

About the Role
We are looking for Certificate III and Diploma qualified educators who are:

• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible and available to work across Monday to Friday
• Able to work a variety of shift times
• Passionate about early childhood education
• Positive, energetic and enthusiastic team players
• Able to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• National Police Clearance no older than 6 months
• Current Mandatory Reporting/Child Protection Training
• Strong understanding of child safety and wellbeing practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
