Located at the RAAF Base Tindal, just 15 km outside of Katherine and caters to Defence personnel and their families. Katherine is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory and is known as the place where “The outback meets the tropics”. Situated on the Katherine River 320km southwest of Darwin.
The team have created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have capacity for 73 children and operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. On the weekends the adventure and experiences of the surrounding region will have you longing for the great outdoors. Travel, adventure, and an amazing career – you can have it all!

What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor of Education (Early childhood) / Diploma or ACECQA approved equivalent
- Valid Ochre card or ability to obtain one
- Strong leadership skills
- 2-3 years of previous experience as a Director
- An unwavering passion for children, their learning and care
- Friendly, flexible, approachable and a team player
- Strong advocacy for children and their inclusion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to build positive relationships with peers, families and children
