Status: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: $109,591.57 (inclusive of all allowances/loadings), plus super

One Tree Little Nuggets Halls Creek is a community-focused service located in the heart of the Kimberley. As Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high-quality education and care in line with the National Quality Framework. You will inspire and support your team, build strong community connections, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the service. Selection Criteria

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a leadership role within early childhood education
  • Strong knowledge of child development and early learning frameworks (EYLF, NQS, MTOP)
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Proven ability to manage service operations, compliance, and quality improvement processes
  • Experience contributing to Assessment and Rating at Meeting or Exceeding level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build relationships with families, staff, and the wider community
  • Commitment to advocating for children’s rights and delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to work respectfully within a culturally diverse environment

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Halls Creek
  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
  • Current WA Working with Children Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Relevant leadership experience
