One Tree Defence Unit Puckapunyal
 located near Seymour in Regional Victoria, is a welcoming service that works in partnership with local defence families and the local community. We have placements for 86 children across our long day care. We have several rooms including pre kinder, nursery, toddler room, preschool and outside of school hours care. Our operating hours are 7am – 6pm.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood);
  • Valid working with children card, VIT registration
  • Reflective practice and knowledge of the early years learning frame work;
  • The ability to lead and work within a positive team environment; and
  • Flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and a mature approach.

  • You will have the ability to design and implement a vibrant curriculum where each child’s current knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities, and interests are the foundation of a play-based program;
  • You will be able to place the needs of children and their community at the centre of practice, while aligning with approved Early Learning and Development Frameworks and the National Quality Standards, as well as One Tree’s policies and procedures;
  • You have the capacity to build a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement;
  • You will find creative solutions and have open-mindedness and patience; and
  • You will have an unwavering passion for children, their learning and care.
