Position: Food Coordinator
Status: Permanent Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Qualifications: Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Hourly rate: $32.23 (inclusive of all allowances/loadings) plus super

As our Food Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting children’s health and wellbeing by planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals each day. You will cater for a variety of dietary, cultural, and allergy requirements, ensuring all meals meet food safety standards and nutritional guidelines. Selection Criteria

  • Experience in food preparation, ideally in a childcare or similar setting
  • Knowledge of nutrition and meal planning for young children
  • Understanding of food safety standards and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work respectfully within a culturally diverse environment
  • Passion for supporting children’s health and wellbeing

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current WA Working with Children Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance
