We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Regional Manager with 2+ years experience to provide leadership and operational support across a portfolio of kindergarten services.

As a Regional Manager, you will work closely with Directors and Managers to foster positive workplace cultures, strengthen service performance, and ensure services operate in line with regulatory requirements and organisational expectations.

About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance, and operational support across multiple kindergarten services. You will coach and mentor service leaders, support continuous improvement initiatives, oversee quality and compliance standards, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional educational outcomes.

This role requires regular travel across your portfolio of services and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse range of communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with Directors, Managers, educators, and stakeholders.
  • Supporting and coaching service leaders to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Leading a positive workplace culture where psychological safety, collaboration, and accountability are valued.
  • Identifying risks, analysing complex situations, and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supporting services through quality improvement, compliance, and assessment processes.
  • Providing guidance on performance, people management, and operational matters.
  • Facilitating constructive conversations and resolving workplace challenges professionally and respectfully.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across your portfolio.
  • Championing child safety, wellbeing, and organisational values.

About You
You are an experienced leader who understands that great outcomes start with great relationships. You lead with integrity, communicate with purpose, and create environments where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading and supporting multiple services, sites, or teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to establish credibility quickly.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to understand different perspectives and experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering psychologically safe and high-performing teams.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Confidence navigating complex situations and making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including active listening and providing constructive feedback.
  • A commitment to accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and early childhood education sector requirements (highly regarded).
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or an equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Ability to work onsite at the kindergartens
  • Ability to attend meetings and office days (Tuesday and Wednesdays) in our Sunshine West Office, and as required
  • Hold a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) card
  • Hold a current driver’s licence
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain
  • Have experience in a similar position or leading large teams
  • You will have a strong understanding of kindergarten operations, curriculum/pedagogy
  • Have completed your online Child Safety training
