Our Service 
One Tree Defence Kids Crew  is a welcoming service located in Nowra. A small service with a maximum of 25 places, we offer before school care, after school care and vacation care. Before & After School care hours 7 – 9am and 3 – 5.30pm during school term and 7.00am – 5.30pm during the school holidays.

In this role, you’ll be essential in ensuring clear, effective communication across all service levels, fostering an environment of collaboration, professionalism, trust, and respect. Your responsibilities include overseeing compliance with educational and safety standards, ensuring a secure and enriching learning space.

You’ll also play a crucial role in driving community engagement, building solid relationships with families and stakeholders. With a proven track record in Assessment and Rating, achieving ‘Meeting’ or ‘Exceeding’ standards, your commitment to continuous improvement and professional development will contribute significantly to our service’s success and the educational journey of our children.

Selection Criteria:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience as a director in an early childhood or OSJHC service
  • Able to lead and inspire a team of educators, fostering professional growth and a positive work environment.
  • Able to create innovative educational programs for children aged 5- 12, encouraging curiosity and learning
  • Ensure clear, effective communication across all levels of the center, promoting collaboration and trust
  • Oversee compliance with educational standards and safety regulations, maintaining a secure learning space
  • Drive community engagement, building strong relationships with families and external stakeholders
  • Be a nominated supervisor and first aid officer
