One Tree Community Services- East Sale
One Tree Defence Child Care Unit East Sale is located on RAAF Base East Sale and operates Monday to Friday from 7:15am to 6:00pm. We are proud to provide a high-quality, inclusive, and child-led program that supports children and families within the Defence community.

Our service is built on strong relationships, intentional teaching, and a sense of belonging, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and grow. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that foster learning and development.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and centre policies.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance daily tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications and about you:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset.
• Current First Aid qualification & Anaphylaxis training
• Mandatory reporting certificate
• Child Safety Training
• Current WWCC VIC
• National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Be an experienced and passionate advocate for the early education sector.
• Always advocate for children’s rights.
• You may be required to be a Responsible Person
