As Room Leader, you will lead your room in delivering high-quality education and care, supporting your team, and creating engaging learning environments for children. You will play a key role in implementing educational programs, building relationships with families, and contributing to the overall success of the service.

Selection Criteria
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a room leader role or above
- Experience in working in a remote community
- Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children’s learning
- Communication skills and ability to lead a team
- Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
- Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
- Ability to advocate for children’s rights and role model positive relationships with children
- You will be required to be the Responsible Person at the service
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Halls Creek
- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Valid WA Working with Children Check clearance
- Current National Police Clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
