One Tree Altona Meadows Children’s Service

Long day care and kindergarten

Wathaurong Country

Welcome to Altona Meadows Children’s Service. Our service has a warm, family feel. Our open door policy means you are welcome to drop in at any time to spend time with your children. You can take as much time as you need to settle your children when you drop them off in the mornings.

Our approach

At Altona Meadows, we promote healthy eating and offer a range of food for lunch. Stir fries, vegetarian meals, homemade pasties, soups and hearty stews are offered to the children. We cater for children with food allergies and provide cultural diets.

We foster the Reggio Emilia Philosophy at our service and believe the environment is the third teacher. We encourage exploration and imagination, reflecting the natural world. You will often see our resident chickens running around the yard with the children. All our educators are passionate about their roles and strive to provide the best possible care for your children.

Our service

We are a 58-place service.

  • Our babies room caters for infants 0 to 20 months (allocation for 12 babies).
  • Our toddler room caters for children 20 months to 3 years (allocation for 16 children).

Kindergarten
