Situated between the Great Ocean Road and the Great Otway National Park, Apollo Bay Preschool has taught generations of Apollo Bay children. It is a much-loved service within this bustling, beachside community. Beginning a new chapter in 2022, Apollo Bay Preschool, under the One Tree management, will move to the Early Years Hub at the Apollo Bay P-12 College as the Apollo Bay Kindergarten.

Our approach

The brand-new building offers a secure playground for imaginative, outdoor play that’s next to the expansive school oval. Designed to support families, there is a Maternal and Child Health service on-site that’s operated by the Colac Otway Shire.

Apollo Bay Kindergarten is deeply connected to the local community and works in strong partnership with parents.

Our Service

We are a 66-place kindergarten offering 15 hours of:

• Sessional 3-year-old kindergarten; and
• Sessional 4-year-old kindergarten.

Our 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten terms align with Victorian school terms.

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development.

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.
