Welcome to our newly built kindergarten at 69 Eildon Parade (formerly 73 Eildon Parade). Our service offers a fresh, purpose-designed space for children to grow, learn and thrive. It features large natural play areas, modern classrooms and community-focussed programs.

Our philosophy

We believe children learn best through play. We do this by building strong, secure relationships with each child through meaningful play-based experiences.

Our approach centres on creating safe, nurturing environments where children feel seen, supported and free to explore. We focus on encouraging their sense of curiosity and independence.

We see the natural environment as a partner in learning. As our “third teacher” it offers endless opportunities for discovery and growth.

We are a 30-place service catering to 3 and 4-year-olds.

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development.

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.

All children who turn three or four by the April 30, 2025, and meet the Victorian Government criteria are entitled to 15 hours per week of free kindergarten.

All Aboriginal children are entitled to two years of free kindergarten.
