Emerald Preschool

Kindergarten
Cardinia Shire Council, Wurundjeri Country

At Emerald Preschool, we have a fantastic team of educators who run fun, play-based programs for 3- and 4-year-olds. It is a safe and exciting place where children can play, learn, and be creative, with plenty of time to have fun, make things, explore, and grow.

Our environment

At Emerald, the environment is important. Each room is colourful and reflects the changing program and interests of the children. Our leafy outdoor spaces are set up for the most fun you can get out of a day. We help children to be kind to themselves, others, and nature. Our highest priority is safety and a quality early education.

Our Service

We are a 59-place sessional kindergarten offering funded:

  • Sessional 3-year-old kindergarten; and
  • Sessional 4-year-old kindergarten.

Our kindergarten terms align with Victorian school terms.

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development.

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.
