Cardinia Shire Council, Boonwurrung Country

Located within the brand-new Kurmboon Child and Family Centre, Kurmboon Kindergarten is a modern and beautifully designed service. Situated in a purpose-built community hub, Kurmboon offers a nurturing and secure environment for children and families.

Our approach

Kurmboon Kindergarten features a secure playground, fostering imaginative outdoor play, and includes three spacious kindergarten rooms to accommodate the needs of growing children. The convenience of ample on-site parking ensures that daily drop-offs and pick-ups are hassle-free for parents.

Our community

In addition to its exceptional early childhood education services, Kurmboon Child and Family Centre is also home to, maternal and child health services provided by the Cardinia Shire Council. This integration of services ensures that families have access to comprehensive support and resources, all within the same welcoming facility.

Our feedback

“The service demonstrated a clear commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing, guided by the Victorian Child Safe Standards. A strong child-safe culture was evident, with educators understanding their roles in protecting children and ensuring their voices and rights were respected and valued.” – Authorised Officer

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development.

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.
