Welcome to Lollypop Creek Kindergarten. Our newly built kindergarten is located in the Lollypop Creek Community Centre on Wadawurrung Country. We are here to support children and families in the kindergarten years. Our aim is to provide a positive learning experience before children transition to school.

Our environment

Our service offers 3 large kindergarten rooms with lots of natural light. We also have a beautiful purpose-built yard. This outdoor area is filled with lots of natural elements and structures. It has been designed to support children’s learning and development as they connect with nature.

Our approach

We deliver a play-based kindergarten program. It supports children’s curiosity, imagination, learning and development.

We pride ourselves on connecting with the local community. We work in partnership with the services in the Lollypop Creek Community Centre to provide rich learning opportunities for children and families.

Our educators value all children and their voices. We work closely with families, stakeholders and other professionals to deliver a high-quality kindergarten program.

Our service

We are a 99-place service with three kindergarten rooms. Our service offers three and four year old kindergarten programs.

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development.

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.

All children who turn three or four by the April 30 2025 and meet the Victorian Government criteria are entitled to 15 hours per week of free kindergarten.

All Aboriginal children are entitled to two years of free kindergarten.
