Weir Views Kindergarten

Kindergarten
Melton City Council, Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country

Welcome to Weir Views Kindergarten, opening in January 2026.

Our service offers three and four-year old kindergarten programs. We have four large rooms with lots of natural light, as well as a beautiful, purpose-built yard. This outdoor area is filled with lots of natural elements and structures. It has been designed to support children’s learning and development as they connect with nature.

Our approach

We deliver a play-based kindergarten program. It supports children’s curiosity, imagination, learning and development. We pride ourselves on connecting with the local community. We work closely with families, stakeholders and other professionals to deliver a high-quality kindergarten program.

Our service

We are a four-room sessional kindergarten open Monday to Friday. Our service is part of the brand new Weir Views Children’s and Community Centre. The centre includes two maternal and child health consulting rooms and two community rooms that can be hired through Melton City Council.

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and National Quality Standards (NQS).

We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.
