Werribee West Family Centre

Kindergarten
Wyndham City Council, Wadawurrung Country

At Werribee West Family Centre, we have two dedicated kindergarten rooms led by passionate and experienced educators. Located in a purpose-built community centre, our service has been designed with children and families at heart.

Our spaces

Early childhood years are a vital time for curiosity, creativity and connection. Our warm and engaging spaces are designed to support children to grow, learn and thrive through play-based learning.

Our community

Community and local culture are central to our practice. We value the diverse voices of our families and build strong, respectful partnerships that celebrate each child’s identity and story.

Our service

We are a 55-place sessional kindergarten service. Monday to Thursday we offer integrated three and four year old kindergarten programs.

Our service features:

  • Two well-equipped kindergarten rooms.
  • Large outdoor play area with mature trees and native plants.
  • Qualified educators who support each child’s needs.
  • A strong sense of community where every child feels seen, heard and valued

Our educational program

We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development.

One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.
