New Innovate RAP July 2026-June 2028

Today, we are proud to launch our new Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to reconciliation and meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We are committed to walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and contributing to a more equitable and inclusive future for all.

This is our second Innovate RAP. It builds on the foundations established through our previous RAP initiatives and sets out clear, measurable actions. It supports us to strengthen relationships, foster respect, and create opportunities across our organisation and the communities we serve.

This continuation of the work from our first Innovate RAP reaffirms our commitment to reconciliation. It helps us work towards getting it right by continuing to build stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and organisations. This plan reflects our belief that reconciliation is a shared responsibility. That through partnerships, cultural learning, employment pathways, procurement opportunities, and community engagement, we can contribute to positive and lasting change.

The launch of our Innovate RAP represents more than a document. It is a commitment to action. Over the coming years, we will work collaboratively with employees, stakeholders, and Indigenous communities to achieve the goals outlined in the plan and to embed reconciliation into the way we operate.

As a children’s and community services provider, we recognise the importance of creating culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful services. We recognise the need to support the diverse needs and aspirations of the communities we serve. Our Innovate RAP provides a framework for meaningful action and accountability as we continue our reconciliation journey.

We thank everyone who contributed to the development of this RAP and look forward to continuing our reconciliation journey.

One Tree Community Services acknowledges the Traditional Owners and custodians of country where we operate. In the spirit of reconciliation, we recognise their continuing cultural connections to their land, waters and communities. We pay our respect to their Elders both past and present and to all First Australians of today.
