One Tree receives Lotterywest Grant

One Tree Community Services (One Tree) are so appreciative of the Premier of WA, the Hon Mark McGowan MLA and Lotterywest for an almost $1.3M grant to significantly improve how we connect with our clients and services. Special thanks also to Lotterywest retailers, and those who play Lotto.

The Hon Simone McGurk MLA and Nerreda Hillier (representing Lotterywest) presented the cheque at an afternoon tea on Wednesday 6th June. The event was attended by staff and Gordon Melsom (One Tree Board of Directors).

Karri Hillier, One Tree CEO said, “Delivering services for women and children escaping violence, childcare, inclusion support, parenting and mental health programs is challenging. Delivering these services rural and remote adds another layer of complexity. This grant will make a considerable difference to working conditions for 25 services across 16 WA communities.”
